We work closely with our Inclusive Learning Team, Edmonton Public Schools, to provide support and interventions for all our students in need particularly students in our high-needs full-day kindergarten program.
A collaborative professional staff network with 5 other schools - West 6 - (Athlone, Belmead, Brightview, Inglewood, Prince Charles and Sherwood) continues to promotes a culture of care, respect and the sharing of best practices.
Through Breakfast Clubs of Canada, we offer a healthy breakfast program for our students in need, along with a daily heatlhy snack with support from the Food for Thought program.
The Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society has an office in our school as well as the White Cloud Aboriginal Head Start Classroom. Our partnership sees students have access to Coyote Pride, a weekly mentorring program and many other opportunities. Bent Arrow also supports our families in accessing necessary services that they have connections to.
Our partnership with Kids on Track provides a weekly Thursday aftrernoon activity program in our gym for our students.
Kidco Community Childcare Centers provides needed before and after school care for many of our students. Please contact them at 780-756-9101 for more information.
Healthy Active Community Kids Program provides an after school program one day a week for children. Activities range from games to community initiatives, cooking, personal safety and many more.
